Question #1:

Suba license lost and need replacement?

I got my scuba license many many years ago when I was 13. Im now 45. I've been diving since, but lost my license many years ago. I currently let my buddy rent my gear under his license.
I've tried to find a duplicate or research how I can get it replaced without retaking the whole course. Anyone have a link or know how I can get this done.
I know the name of the instructor and the business, but they have gone out of business.
There has to be a record of my license somewhere I can get it replaced.
Thanks

I was dreaming of offshore oil rigs and discussing the relative benefits of high tide earth jetties to deliver oil as opposed to low tide ones ( only available at low tide )

All this was total nonsense as such jetties do not exist !

Any guesses ?

There were also deep sea scuba divers walking past in their diving gear.

That was a bit strange as we were in a desert.

Question #11:

Reputable website to buy Scuba gear from?

Hey everyone,

I'm in the midst of getting my Scuba certification now, and all I hear is that you should try to invest in your own gear as soon as possible. However, there are many sites that I've come across that GREATLY vary in price (many "discount" places, etc), for example one website will have dive computers prices at $700 starting, where another will have them for under $200. I'm assuming quality the main factor there, but I mean they all do the same job right?

If you guys could point out a couple good sites for me to start browsing and pricing gear I'd appreciate it!

Thanks

Question #17:

I just finished my Open Water and Advanced Open Water scuba training in Utila, Hondras and I have a question?

I did all my diving (training and fun dives) with one operation in Utila and they always loaded the boat with my dive gear (theirs) and then I would bundle it up after the dives and rinse it on the jetty and bundle it up again and put it in the store.

I am going diving in Cozumel next month: what is the boast etiquette if I do fun dives with the dive shop's gear?

Do I expect them to load the gear onto and off the boat or do I bundle it myself and load/unload and rinse it and then bundle it for them to store?
Excuse typo; should have read *boat etiquette*
